Spielraum Kollektiv

Spielraum Kollektiv is a free theater group of creators around Linda Straub and Mathias Straub, focused primarily on site-specific and documentary theater. Distinctive features of previous projects include innovative ways of involving the viewer in the game and an emphasis on working with space. In its experimental work, the group often draws on the principles of movement and visual theatre.

The founding couple has been creating theater projects since 2011. Among the prominent projects is, for example, Marie to Dala. How can you do it? (2013), Why continue? (2015), Fidlovačka or Who is My? (2017), Busking Un/ Limited (2016), for which Linda and Mathias Straub received a nomination for the 2016 Theater Newspaper Award in the Alternative Theater category, or Relax Now! with which the ensemble was selected to participate in the FIAC festival in Mexico .
