Subgate

DJ Subgate, whose real name is Ondřej Beránek, started his career in 2001. From the beginning, he presented himself with a dynamic and uncompromising techno sound. In a relatively short period of time, he established himself mainly in the north of Bohemia, where he became a resident of the Liberec club Liquid and performed at a number of prestigious parties in this region.

In 2006, thanks to his flexibility, his name appears on the lineups of both minimal parties, as well as events focused on techno. At the end of the year, he performs at the prestigious three-day indoor festival 901 electronicbeats. With the year 2007 comes another important stage of his career. It is absorbed by the new wave of electro and progressive house. He performs in a number of Prague clubs. In the fall of this year, he becomes a co-organizer of afterparties after indoor events such as Transmission or Sensation White in Prague's Retro Music Hall. 2008 is a year full of changes and important moments for Subgate. With his record bag, he leaves for distant Sri Lanka, where he performs at countless beach parties. He participates in the organization of afterparties in Prague's Retro Music Hall and at the same time in the next edition of the Shotgun Euro festival.

His sound is again undergoing fundamental changes and moves on the border between minimal, tech house and techno with elements of electro. His base is Prague, where he performs in clubs such as Roxy, Mecca, Vertigo, Retro Music Hall, Občanská Plovárna, Zero bar, Havana club or Central Station.
