Symfonický orchester Slovenského rozhlasu

It is the oldest Slovak professional orchestra. It was founded in 1929 as an orchestra that was supposed to saturate the needs of radio broadcasting. During the period of its existence, it grew into a body of a representative nature, regularly appearing at domestic and foreign concerts, parades and festivals. He cooperates with important cultural and artistic institutions and music publishers at home and abroad. He performed in all important European and world music centers. The orchestra has its own subscription series of concerts, which take place in the Great Concert Studio in the Slovak Radio building on Mýtná Street in Bratislava.
