Tonya Graves
Tonya Graves (born December 17, 1969 in Peekskill, New York) is an American singer and actress living in the Czech Republic.
She was born in Peekskill, New York. In 1995, she moved to Prague. She collaborated with guitarist Luboš Andršt and later worked in the band Liquid Harmony. She also sang on the concert album Live from Bunkr – Prague by Noel Redding and Ivan Král. She spent many years in the Monkey Business group. She left this band in 2016, when Tereza Černochová replaced her. In 2011, she released her first solo album called I'm the Only Me, followed by Back to Blues in 2015. She also collaborated with the group Kašpárek v rohlíku.
As an actress, she appeared in the series The cases of the Ostrozrak detective office, played the main female role in the TV comedy Iguo Igua and in Jiří Menzel's film I served the King of England< /em> performed as the Abyssinian emperor Haile Selassie I. In 2019, she participated in the dance competition Stardance, where she finished in 9th place.
