Tris Kayo

DJ and producer Tris Kayo, a native of London, grew up in the middle of the live music scene of the 90s and penetrated various genres from a very young age.

He was already one of the ones handing out flyers outside clubs at the age of 14 and established relationships with security, who often allowed him in to gauge the atmosphere. This early contact paved the way for him to quickly adapt to the multifaceted musical landscape, starting with a residency at the Fish Club on Oxford Street. He achieved a significant milestone with performances that resonated with diverse audiences at Les Plages Electroniques Festival in Cannes or his personal favorite Gilles Peterson's Worldwide in Sete. His musical odyssey took him from Great Britain to France and now he works in the Czech Republic.

In Prague, Tris "made waves" with Lifted, a live party inspired by Mancuso's New York Loft parties. He performed on the line-ups Komiks, Fuchs2, Jazz Dock, Groove Bar, Roxy, Stalin and Wildt. This shows his eclecticism in musical styles and his ability to cross the boundaries between genres.

In addition to DJing, Tris owned and operated the record store Relish, organic winery Brut, worked in advertising and collaborated with companies such as Manifesto Market, Vnitroblock and Mosaic House. Throughout his career, Tris has been active in the media, working as a resident DJ on TV culture shows, pirate and community radio in the UK and spent almost ten years at the French National Radio Monaco in Monte Carlo, while in Prague he was a guest DJ on various radio stations , including Radio 1, Express FM, Color Radio and Radio Punctum.
