Volant

Singer, guitarist and founding member of the Pardubice punk band Volant, Pavel Milichovský founded the group in 1995.

The characteristic feature of Volant's sound is the saxophone in the hands of Zdeňko Mašek, which complements and enlivens the otherwise classical guitar line-up. In the full line-up, the band has eight members, however, according to frontman Milich, they only perform in five at concerts, depending on what suits them.

The main motto and driving force of the group is simplicity, and the most important thing is an ordinary, well-functioning song for her. This proves very well in energetic performances, and the band believes that straightforward compositions on classic three chords, combined with varied lyrics, are the ideal form to entertain the audience and themselves.
