William Basinski

William Basinski is an avant-garde composer based in New York. He is also a clarinetist, saxophonist, sound and video artist. Basinski is best known for his four-part album The Disintegration Loops (2002–2003), created from rapidly disintegrating twenty-year-old recordings of his previous music.
