Withecker

Withecker, real name Zdeněk Vázan, is a Czech techno DJ and producer. His journey to electronic music started like many others by visiting various dance parties and his DJ career started around 2001. At that time he played disco and dancehall. The transition to techno music came with his deeper understanding of DJing, where music became a way of self-expression for him. His beginnings belonged to tribal and groove techno, because they ruled the dance floor at the time. The transition to hard-tech came after visiting a party with Sven Wittekind. He showed him a new way and the speed of Witteker's sets soared to "heavenly heights". He also creates and produces his own music throughout his career.
