Yannick

energetic, full funky progressive electro sound, broken and straight beats, can briefly describe sets of DJ Yannicka. The beginnings of his playing dates back to 1998, when his winning style was just starting to look, and the House, Tech-House and Techno labels prevailed among his records. His current sets are strongly influenced by these beginnings, when he focused solely on the dance audience. But Breakbeat was the only one to provide a wide range of possibilities, so today we can hear calmer sets with pleasant areas, interesting offbeats and vocals. With emotion, he can adapt the selection of records and the audience for which he plays. Recently, with the advent of digitization, Yannick is increasingly returning to his roots and plays rather straight Electro, acid sets spiced with progressive breakbeat.

He likes many hours that offer him the opportunity to replace all his favorite styles. Nor does it avoid pure breakbeat sets, which depends on the character of the action. We can see and hear it not only to Prague clubs such as Roxy, Le Mirage, XT3, Acropolis, Swamp, Cross, Bukýnu or Chateu, but also in clubs in Liberec, Tábor, Turnov, Jablonec or Brno. Last year he was a resident of a regular night in the Comix club and scored at Breaksom or the 13th birthday in Roxy. In summer, he is a frequent participant in various open-air events, such as Shoot Gun, which is one of his favorite. He recently participated as a guest of Live Air Sofa and Shadowbox on Radio 1. In the past he performed at events alongside DJs Tayo, Lee Buridge and Nathan Coles. Since October 2005, he has been preparing the program PARTYPEOPLE ON Air on the Acropolis Radio You can tune it every Friday from 13:00 to 15:00 This is a cultural overview of the past and the following week there are also interesting guests from Prague and Prague bands, DJs and performers, tips for weekend and lots of music. Since January 2006, he has been starting a resident club night called Breakpoint at the Chapeau Rouge in Prague and at the Redbar club in Tábor. March 2006 Mix the Moon Demo in XMAG magazine called Dark and Long (Double CD).
