Žaneta Vítová
Žaneta Vítová is a Czech accordionist, composer and lecturer moving between the genres of contemporary classical music and free improvisation, drawing inspiration mainly from jazz and contemporary music. He works as a teacher in Zuš Kuři.
In addition to the duo with Annabelle Plum, he works in several ensembles. In a jazz-classical fusion with elements of free improvisation - Radim Hanouska's Dust in the Groove, in the ConTRIOlogy trio - accordion, dulcimer and vocals - presenting contemporary authors of classical music and creating an author's project of folk songs in connection with electronics. She appears as a guest in the Opera of the National Theater Brno, in the BCO orchestra and in independent opera ensembles - Opera Diversa and Haus Opera.
She co-created the music for the sight-specific performance of the Continua Theater - Agora and collaborated with the dance group ME-SA on the performance Assamblagge. She worked with the dancer Patriciia Pažická on her solo performance *I am not a swaán, which she supplemented with a musical and sound component. During the covid lockdowns, she created a music book for children - Accordion tells - it is full of compositions that encourage children's improvisational and composing skills.
