Zeurítia

Vendula Šmoldasová is Czech jazz and bossan singer performing as Zaurítia. Zurítia is known on the Czech music scene mainly by the singing of Boss Nova in Brazilian Portuguese. In 2005 she began to specialize in Brazilian boss Nova and perform in the duo with her current husband Libor Šmoldas. In 2007 she founded the band Zurítia and recorded the first album with the name of the same name. The album has been accepted with great success and is one of the best -selling jazz music records in our country. In Mecca Jazz, she also took singing lessons with Peter Eldridge (Manhattan School of Music, Member of the New York Voices, Moss). At the Prague Jazz Workshop from the bewitching and fans of the Brno Jazzfest of the well -known Polka Aga Zaryan. She expanded her education in London and Germany, where she graduated from jazz workshops led by Pete Churchill, Tiny May and Guillerma Rozenthuler.
