Sobre o evento
What’s it like being an American abroad these days?
People ask.
Constantly.
And somehow you're expected to explain your entire country… without being personally responsible for it.
In her new solo show Fine, Actually, Holly Hudson delivers a hilarious and insightful hour of stand-up and storytelling about identity, politics, ageing, dating, family, and surviving modern life while the news seems determined to ruin everyone's day.
Smart, personal and sharply funny, this is comedy about trying to stay optimistic when the world keeps making it difficult.
What to Expect
A stand-up show about:
- being an American living abroad
- culture clashes and identity
- dating in midlife
- family and getting older
- politics invading everyday life
- trying to stay sane while doom-scrolling the headlines
The personal and the political collide in ways that are both absurd and painfully relatable.
Whether you're American, European, an expat or simply trying to make sense of today's world, you'll find something to laugh about.
