Trueboy was created twenty -four years ago as an attempt to introduce the final reading texts of the drama - competition of the original Slovak and Czech dramatic texts since 2010. Desde 2005, o triatlo é realizado como parte do novo festival de drama/novo drama. The organizers of the Drama 2024 competition are the theater Institute, the Drama of the Slovak National Theater, the Ján Palárik Theater in Trnava, the Jozef Gregor Tajovský Theater in Zvolen, the Jorik of the Jorik of the Puppet Theater of the Košice Region, Drama National Theater (Prague, Czech Republic) and Studio 12, Theater Platform Institute. O parceiro da competição é a televisão eslovaca e a rádio - Radio Devín. A ambição do evento é estimular o interesse dos telespectadores no trabalho dramático contemporâneo, enquanto refresca o caminho de sua encenação. Os textos finais serão apresentados pela equipe criativa através de um curto trecho encenado. Este ano também será uma discussão com autores e autores, criadores de trechos de leitura encenada dos textos finais e com o júri especializado da competição drama 2024 sobre as possibilidades e limites da eslovaca e drama contemporâneo tcheco ou competições dramáticas como tal.
