"Ak existujú kultové miesta a mestá vo svete, ktoré sa mohli stať trvalým domovom fotografie, potom je ním od spoločenských zmien, ktoré prebehli v našom regióne, práve Bratislava. Bratislava svoju cestu našla: za svoju vlajkovú tému si zvolila fotografiu a zrealizovala množstvo významných výstav – najmä v Stredoeurópskom dome fotografie."

"If there are places and cities in the world that can truly be called enduring homes of photography, then, since the profound social transformations that reshaped the region, Bratislava has undoubtedly become one of them in Central and Eastern Europe.
