VAMOS EXPERIMENTAR... Cerâmicas para Usar! Esta é uma oficina de cerâmica a partir do saber da olaria cabo-verdiana / Ilha de Santiago. Partiremos dos saberes da olaria feita por mulheres em Cabo Verde. Criaremos objetos úteis respondendo as necessidades de uso, na cozinha, na horta ou no jardim.
Cada participante definirá uma necessidade e um lugar.
Teremos como referência para a aprendizagem os objetos e as fotografias de objetos trazidos pelos participantes e as formas da olaria de Cabo Verde.
Partiremos receitas, das plantas, também podemos partir da forma dos frutos de tubérculos ou de sementes, criaremos os objetos com as formas a que cada um de nós é sensível.
Na oficina, analisaremos os materiais e os possíveis desenvolvimentos da forma para a criação de objetos singulares. Formar, conformar criar o vazio, abrir e fechar.
A cada participante propõe-se o encontrar do seu modo de fazer.
Aprender o modo de fazer, saber usar as ferramentas, saber os tempos da matéria e os limites, cuidar e acabar, secar e cozer.
O fogo transformará o barro revelando então o objeto cerâmico único.

O workshop é constituido por um total de 8 sessões, feitas em 4 sábados, no qual se pode adquirir apenas o bilhete para um dia equiovalente a 2 sessões ou um bilhete para as 8 sessões
No final cada participante levará as suas peças finalizadas.

Description
Let's Experiment... Ceramics for Use. This is a ceramics workshop based on the knowledge of Cape Verde's pottery / Santiago Island. We will start from the knowledge of pottery made by women in Cape Verde. We will create useful objects in response to needs in the kitchen, in the vegetable garden or in the garden.... Each participant will define a need and a place.
We will use the objects and photographs of objects brought by the participants and the forms of Cape Verdean pottery as a reference for learning.
We will start with recipes, plants, the shape of fruit, tubers or seeds, and create objects with the shapes that each of us is sensitive to.
In the workshop, we will analyze the materials and possible developments of form to create unique objects. Forming, shaping, creating emptiness, opening and closing.
Each participant is asked to find their own way of making.
Learning how to make, knowing how to use the tools, knowing the times of the material and the limits, caring for and finishing, drying and firing.
The fire will transform the clay, revealing the unique ceramic object.
About
The workshop consists of a total of 8 sessions, held over 4 Saturdays. You can buy a ticket for just one day, equivalent to 2 sessions, or a ticket for all 8 sessions.
At the end, each participant will take home their finished pieces.
