Kristina Fialová

Kristina Fialová is a Czech solo violist.

Expert critics praise her above all for her technique, temperament and sophisticated musical sensibility. After winning the title of absolute winner at the Michal Spisak International Competition in Katowice, Poland in 2013, the violist opened her way to leading European stages. In addition to being invited to the prestigious Danish Tivoli festival, she made her debut in the famous Tonhalle Zürich and performed a solo recital at the MHF Prague Spring 2015.

She regularly performs with leading Czech and foreign orchestras (Copenhagen Philharmonic, Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, Mannheim Kammerorchester, Prague Chamber Philharmonic, Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, Pardubice Philharmonic, Brno Philharmonic, Pilsen Philharmonic, Elbland Philharmonic, Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc, Zabrze Philharmonic, Slovak Chamber Orchestra of Bohdan Warchal, Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic, Czech Chamber Soloists and others). She is a laureate of a number of international competitions – Johannes Brahms Competition, ACT London, Beethovenův Hradec, Alexander and Buono International String Competition, Val Tidone Competition, Danish Academy of Musicʼs soloist competition, and others.

She has released eight CDs on Czech labels Supraphon and ArcoDiva and the Danish label Dacapo. She led master classes in Lima, Copenhagen, Qingdao and Canton. He plays the Italian viola "Carlo Antonio Testore - Contrada 1745". He belongs to the artists of the German company Pirastro and plays exclusively on the strings of this brand.
