Tento rok v spolupráci s festivalom Hradby Samoty organizujeme výstavu
”OživoTvorenie”

Ak chceme niečo obnoviť, mali by sme najprv skúsiť odhaliť a pochopiť podstatu. Podobne ako reštaurátori robia sondy do muriva – postupným zoškrabávaním vrstiev obnažujme to, čo sa skrýva pod povrchom. Ako však obnovíme krajiny zničené vojnovými konfliktmi? Chceme obnoviť dôveru a nájsť opäť spoločnú reč v polarizovanej spoločnosti? Planéta sa vraj po mnohých rokoch obnoví aj sama, no dokážeme „opraviť“ ľudstvo? Musíme sa kompletne od základu zmeniť, alebo sa stačí vrátiť do „starých dobrých časov“? Aký je náš postoj k minulosti a k obnove historických pamiatok, akou je aj kaštieľ, na ktorého genius loci reaguje táto výstava? V dnešnej dobe polykríz a kataklyziem je dôležité uchovať si nádej. Je to nádej v obnovu? V obnovu čoho a za akú cenu?
Festival experimentálneho audio-vizuálneho umenia Hradby samoty sa bude konať od 3. do 5. júla 2025 v kaštieli v Jablonici, tento rok po štrnásty raz. Jeho súčasťou bude výstava s názvom OŽIVOTVORENIE.
Venuješ sa vo svojej tvorbe témam súvisiacim s tohtoročnými Hradbami samoty? Do našej výzvy môžeš prihlásiť jedno dielo, ktoré podľa teba najviac zapadá do koncepcie výstavy.
Do tejto otvorenej výzvy bez obmedzení sa môžu zapojiť študenti*ky výtvarného umenia, amatérski tvorcovia*kyne, profesionálni umelci*kyne či dizajnéri*ky. Je možné prihlásiť aj digitálne a performatívne diela.

If we want to restore something, we should first try to uncover and understand its essence. Just as restorers make probes into masonry – by gradually scraping away the layers, we expose what lies beneath the surface. But how do we rebuild countries devastated by war? Do we want to rebuild trust and find common ground in a polarized society? The planet will supposedly repair itself after many years, but can we “fix” humanity? Do we have to change completely from the ground up, or is it enough to return to the “good old days”? What is our attitude towards the past and the restoration of historical monuments, such as the Jablonica Manor, where the exhibition takes place? In these times of polycrises and cataclysms, it is important to retain hope. Is it hope in restoration? In the renewal of what and at what cost?
The Walls of Solitude [Hradby samoty] festival of experimental audio-visual art will take place from July 3 to 5 2025 at the Jablonica Manor, Slovakia, this year for the fourteenth time. It will include an exhibition titled resurrERect [oživoTvorenie].
Do you work with topics related to the exhibition in your art practice? You can submit one work to our open call that you think fits best with the exhibition concept.
Art students, amateur creators, professional artists, or designers can participate in this open call without restrictions. Digital and performative works can also be submitted.
