🗣️Počas prehliadky sa dozviete, prečo vznikla výstava práve na túto tému. Predstavíme si 10 štúdií rôznych odborníkov z oblasti architektúry, ktoré budú vydané v pripravovanej prvej publikácii Centra architektúry Trenčín.
📚 Výstava predstavuje pripravovanú prvú publikáciu Centra architektúry Trenčín, ktorá sa komplexne venuje ochrane architektonického dedičstva 20. storočia v Trenčianskom kraji. Autori a autorky sa na modernú architektúru pozerajú z rôznych perspektív, od inštitucionálnej ochrany cez historické východiská až po súčasné výzvy a konkrétne príklady z praxe. Panelové sídliská, brutalizmus, obchodné domy, urbanistické celky ako Baťovany či najmladšia národná kultúrna pamiatka v kraji, Detské mestečko v Trenčíne. Výstava kladie otázky o hodnote, pamäti a zodpovednosti za architektúru, ktorú denne používame, no často prehliadame.
📸 Na podujatí sa budú vyhotovovať foto- a videozáznamy, ktoré môžu byť neskôr zverejnené.

🗣️ During the tour, you will learn why the exhibition was created around this particular topic. We will introduce 10 studies by various architecture experts, which will be published in the upcoming first publication of the Centre for Architecture Trenčín.
📚 The exhibition presents the upcoming first publication of the Centre for Architecture Trenčín, dedicated to the protection of 20th-century architectural heritage in the Trenčín Region. The authors look at modern architecture from various perspectives, from institutional protection and historical contexts to current challenges and specific examples from practice. Housing estates, Brutalism, department stores, urban ensembles such as Baťovany, and the youngest national cultural monument in the region, the Detské mestečko in Trenčín. The exhibition raises questions about the value, memory, and responsibility connected to the architecture we use every day but often overlook.
