Predstavenie umeleckého projektu Lucie Tkáčovej pre Fakultnú nemocnicu v Trenčíne v rámci projektu Na počkanie / EHMK 2026
Prvý umelecký zásah vo verejnom priestore v rámci projektu Waiting Places / EHMK 2026 predstaví verejnosti vizuálna umelkyňa Lucia Tkáčová. Ako miesto svojho zásahu si vybrala nemocnicu. Verejný priestor, ktorý je neoddeliteľnou súčasťou každého mesta, no často zostáva na okraji nášho záujmu.
Lucia Tkáčová pre Fakultnú nemocnicu v Trenčíne pripravuje sériu umeleckých diel, medzi nimi aj autorské posteľné obliečky pre jedno z oddelení.
Na stretnutí s autorkou sa budeme rozprávať o liečivom potenciáli umenia, o účinku krásy na uzdravovanie a o tom, že aj malé gestá môžu zlepšiť každodenné prežívanie. Dozviete sa najnovšie neuroestetické poznatky o vplyve farieb a tvarov na ľudský mozog, a aj to, ako umelecké prostriedky dokážu tlmiť bolesť a priniesť úľavu trpiacim telám a mysliam.
Príďte s nami navštíviť trenčiansku nemocnicu, scitlivieť voči svetu chorých a uvedomiť si vlastné prchavé a predsa tak samozrejmé zdravie.

Presentation of an art project by Lucia Tkáčová for the Faculty Hospital in Trenčín, as part of the Waiting Places / ECoC 2026 project.
The first artistic intervention in public space within the Waiting Places / ECoC 2026 project will be presented to the public by visual artist Lucia Tkáčová.
For her intervention, she chose the hospital - a public space that is an inseparable part of every city, yet often remains on the margins of our attention.
Lucia Tkáčová is preparing a series of artworks, including a set of artist-designed bed linens for one of the hospital wards.
During the meeting with the artist, we will discuss the healing potential of art, the impact of beauty on recovery, and the idea that even small gestures can improve everyday experience. You will learn about the latest neuroaesthetic findings on how colors and shapes influence the human brain, and how artistic means can ease pain and bring relief to suffering bodies and minds.
Join us in visiting the Trenčín hospital — to become more sensitive to the world of the ill and to reflect on our own fleeting, yet so easily taken-for-granted health.
