Amnesty International vznikla na základe myšlienky, že napísať list nevinnému, nespravodlivo väznenému človeku môže znamenať veľmi veľa – a zmeniť mu život. Od nášho vzniku pred viac ako 60 rokmi sme túto premisu potvrdili nespočetne veľakrát. Práve vďaka miliónom listov solidarity sa nám podarilo pozitívne zmeniť život desaťtisícom ľudí. Od roku 2001 je obrovským zdrojom nádeje a pomoci pre utláčaných, šikanovaných a nespravodlivo väznených ľudí na celom svete aj Maratón písania listov.
Príďte sa spolu s nami zapojiť do 12-hodinového Maratónu písania listov, ktorý bude prebiehať v sobotu 30. novembra 2024 od 10.00 do 22.00 hod. v komunitnom centre KUBIK v Trnave. Na podujatí sa dozviete o tohtoročných prípadoch Maratónu písania listov a budete môcť napísať solidárny list, podpísať list úradom či príslušným autoritám, nakresliť obrázok alebo spraviť koláž na podporu ľudí, ktorých práva sú porušované a ktorí čakajú na spravodlivosť. Kreativite sa, samozrejme, medze nekladú. My tieto listy následne odošleme.
Na podujatí môžete stráviť toľko času, koľko sa vám hodí. Ak sa vám podarí prísť aspoň na 1-2 hodiny, možno zistíte, že máte chuť zotrvať ešte o čosi dlhšie. Každopádne, my sa budeme vašej účasti tešiť a v Kubiku budeme písať listy po celý deň.
Papiere, kreatívne pomôcky a malé občerstvenie zabezpečíme.

O 18.00 hod. sa budete môcť zapojiť do nášho ľudskoprávneho kvízu a vyhrať zaujímavé Amnesty ceny.

Since 2001, Write for Rights has been a powerful source of hope and support for oppressed, bullied, and unjustly imprisoned people around the world.
Join us for a 12-hour Letter Writing Marathon on Saturday, November 30th, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the KUBIK Community Center in Trnava. You’ll learn about cases featured in the Write for Rights this year and have the chance to write, draw, or otherwise craft a message of solidarity with the unjustly imprisoned and write letters to authorities. Creativity knows no bounds, and we’ll ensure all these messages are delivered.
You can spend as much or as little time at the event as suits you. If you manage to join us for even one or two hours, you might find yourself wanting to stay a bit longer. Either way, we’ll be thrilled to have you, and we’ll be writing letters in the Kubik throughout the day.
We’ll provide materials and refreshments. Don’t hesitate – write a letter and change someone’s life.
At 6:00 PM, you can also participate in our human rights quiz and win exciting rewards.
