Doma v Litve im nadávajú do „šarlatánov“ experimentálnej hudby - dokázali rozhýbať miestnu alternatívnu scénu odvážnym debutovým albumom „Never Took Place“ (2021).
PLIÉ neznamená nič, len kým to neznamená niečo.

Info for English speaking visitors:
PLIÉ is a no-wave noise rock band, stubbornly pushing the envelope of Lithuanian experimental music overseas. It is a band of 6 musicians of entirely different backgrounds, ranging from black metal to contemporary avant-garde. Playing confrontational music while disregarding logical dissonances of costumed concertmaster and a muscular curb-stomper performing alongside each other, Plié knows exactly what they're doing in their enigmatic, farcically arrogant world of self-imposed runways.
The band managed to take aback alternative music geeks locally with a bold debut album Never Took Place (2021), hyped up their name at ESNS'24, Europavox'24, MENT Ljubljana'23, Tallinn Music Week'22, and main alternative festivals in the region, as well as warmed-up kindred Xiu Xiu in their Vilnius' show, and just released their 2nd enigmatic studio album We Know Exactly What
We're Doing. The album will be on the road - a European tour in November, 2024.
If you hear fragmented noise, know it's PLIÉ launching off. In Art Cafe 29.11.2024 after 20h00. Tickets available at: https://tootoot.fm/sk/events/6734662f1e50800281c93406
