Owen Hatherley je spisovateľ, kritik a historik, ktorý sa venuje architektúre a urbanizmu 20. storočia. Osobitne skúma modernizmus, povojnové plánovanie, socialistické a komunistické prostredie a to, ako zastavané prostredia odrážajú spoločenské a politické dejiny. Je autorom viacerých kníh, napríklad Militant Modernism, Landscapes of Communism či A Guide to the New Ruins of Great Britain. Pravidelne publikuje v architektonických časopisoch, novinách a kultúrnych magazínoch.
Owen Hatherley is a writer, critic, and historian focused on the architecture and urbanism of the 20th century, especially modernism, post-war planning, socialism/communism, and how built environments reflect social and political histories.
