Jarka Novotná, photographer and finalist of the Czech Press Photo (2025) competition, who has been collaborating for a long time with people from sheltered workshops on joint photographic projects. Her photos capturing depth, closeness and humanity will be shown during the event.
Fedor Gál, sociologist, writer, civil activist, will talk with the guests.
Through this event, we want to look at life from a perspective that is often less visible — the life of people with health disabilities – physical, mental, psychological. Не про обмеження, а про цінності: про гідність, емпатію, приналежність і про те, що означає жити добре – навіть у вразливому стані. Ця тема також несе свої морально-етичні дилеми. We will also talk about them.
Accompanying film screening:
Unworthy of Life (2016, 24 min., directed by Veronika Homolová Tóthová). Documentary film about the T4 euthanasia program - the Nazi extermination of people with disabilities.

The event will take place at two times - at 8.30 and 12.00 - preferably for students, but it is also open to the general public.
