It will be possible to learn more about the history of this colossus, which in the past hosted all-Sokol gatherings, spartakiades, concerts and military parades, and whose original part is now under monument protection.
The instructor of the guided walk is Tomáš Bílý. Open House Praha, z. ú. The profit from this event goes to support its activities.
Practical information:
- The meeting place is in front of the gatehouse of the Great Strahov Stadium, which is located by the connecting bridge with the Evžen Rošického Stadium.
We recommend suitable, preferably hiking shoes, due to the uneven surface (heels are completely unsuitable).
- There is a strict ban on the entry of animals.
- The capacity of the group is limited, tickets can only be purchased in advance.
- In case of low interest, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the walk, no later than 48 hours before the start of the event. Buyers will be contacted and the information will also be published on the organizer's website.
- At selected events, the organizer takes photos and/or video recordings for the purpose of documenting and promoting them. More information here.
