Greed has often been explained in ethics as a kind of basic human problem: it is a vice, it leads us away from our true purpose, distorts our needs and can destroy our entire life. But is greed really a human problem or does its cause lie in social reality? As is well known, some people say that the “capitalist system” breeds the greed for possession.
At the beginning of the meeting we learn about the basic ideas of different eras on the topic of greed, then the free discussion opens. The focus is on these questions:

What is greed?
How is it created?
How to deal with it?

See you then!
