About event
MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) is a proven 8-week program that helps you manage stress more consciously and with greater calmness.
It teaches practical techniques that you can use in everyday life - at home, at work and in relationships.
Through meditations, gentle movement, other mindfulness exercises, sharing and mindful observation of everyday life, we learn to be more present - here and now.
The course is suitable for anyone who:
- experiences stress or overload
- wants to slow down and have more peace
- wants to better understand himself, his body and mind
- is looking for practical and proven tools for everyday life
The course was founded in 1979 by Emeritus Professor of Medicine Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in the USA, it connects Eastern learning with the knowledge of Western medicine and is verified by several scientific studies.
The course is led by a certified lecturer with a certificate from the German IMA Institute, the oldest institute in Europe that deals with mindfulness approaches.

LECTURER: BORIS LAPIN
I have been practicing mindfulness since 2016. I completed several meditation retreats (5-20 days), a month-long retreat in Sri Lanka, and I have also been practicing Tai Chi and Chi Kung for a long time.
I graduated from MBSR in Vienna and then a 1.5-year training for MBSR teachers at the IMA institute in Germany (840 hours, of which 240 hours of teaching).
I studied international relations and worked in the financial sector for 15 years.
"I am learning to be with what is here now, to allow myself to fully experience the present moment, to allow myself not to know, to make mistakes, not to be perfect, simply allow yourself to be yourself.
For me, Mindfulness is a lifelong journey of self-discovery, which is based on the cultivation of values such as patience, acceptance, non-judgment, curiosity and love leading to greater freedom, balance and satisfaction. My intention is to continue on this journey and at the same time accompany you who are tempted to learn more about yourself and gradually experience a more fulfilled life.
