Zezula Auction House founded in 2002 followed the long tradition of gallery sale of the founder of Tomáš Zezula, which is now located in the Art Nouveau villa on Hlinky Street. After the start of the auction activity, the Prague Gallery was transferred to the former employees and all business activities returned to Brno. Nearly 30 years of successful existence of the company has accompanied record sales on the national market, especially in the field of used crafts, antiques and Asian. Among the important achievements of recent years is the results of the auctions of Czechoslovak photography. The building of the flashy villa was replaced in the first half of the 20th century by several owners, including the troller family. Hugo and Ella Troller had a passion for art and antiques, and part of their extraordinary collection, which also contained Gothic and Renaissance monuments, was located directly in their villa na Hlinky. After the Second World War, however, the family property was nationalized and the Villa Troller was subsequently used for rental housing.
