About event
Booka Shade will perform at Meetfator 19 March 1925. The duo, which started on the Frankfurt scene at the age of 90, quickly became famous not only for its unique mixture of Techno and House, but also by the co -foundation of the now iconic Get Physical Music. Their latest album link to the Invisible is the essence of club life. It offers diversity, strength and distinctive sound identity that fans of Booko Shade love. Their music is spontaneous and visionary, as evidenced on the world stages from Coachello and Glastonbury to the famous Red Rocks. Since its breakthrough performance at Sónar in 2005, it keeps the reputation of one of the best live acts in the world and got into the TOP 5 according to Resident Advisor. Among other things, they performed alongside Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk.
Their work is transmitted to a wide mainstream audience thanks to performances at festivals like Montreux Jazz Festival and Lollapalooza . Book Shade also appreciated BBC Radio 1, where they were introduced to the Hall of Fame Pete Tong. Since 2013 they have been publishing under their own label Blaufield Music, where they also support new talents. They have been placed in Beatport TOP 100 for a long time.
