Bytový festival Cez Prah 2024

The Cez prah housing festival traditionally commemorates the phenomenon of housing cultural events of the 70s and 80s of the last century, and every year important names or important topics associated with the idea of ​​November 17 appear in the program. The festival takes place in a private environment in several places in Bratislava: in the Rómer house cafe, in the Flatgallery premises, as well as in an apartment at Strakova 1 or Námestí SNP 16. 📍

🌱🪑 However, the apartment is also currently playing an important cultural role, and therefore an equally important component of the festival is to present contemporary progressive art forms that fit into the festival's dramaturgy. In the current year, we are preparing, for example, a houseplant swap with the writer Marek Hudec, a meditative reading of Slovak haiku, a discussion about possible scenarios for further development after November ’89: , a lecture by prof. Foletti and many others.

🛋️ The capacity of the events is limited due to space: apartment on Straková 25 people, Flatgallery 30 people, Námestie SNP 40 people and Rómer's house 60 people. 🛋️ We therefore recommend arriving on time.
