The cemetery at the Goat's Gate is one of the oldest and most important places of worship in Bratislava. It is located near the historic center and its atmosphere reminds of the rich history of the city. The guided tour will guide visitors through this unique place, while introducing important personalities, architectural gems and historical connections connected with the cemetery.
During the tour, visitors will learn more about its development, architectural elements and exceptional tombstones.
The tour includes stops at the graves of important personalities who influenced the history of Bratislava and Slovakia.
The historical context of funeral culture and its transformation over the centuries will also be part of the interpretation. Visitors will learn more about the symbolism of tombstones, architectural elements of chapels and preserved historical artifacts.
A tour of the Kozia brána cemetery offers a unique insight into the history of the city through its important deceased and at the same time allows to understand the development of burial traditions in Bratislava.
We meet at the entrance gate inside the cemetery on Šulekova Street.
The program will last approximately 1.5 hours.
Entrance fee:
Person from 16-70 years: €6.50
Seniors over 70 and disabled: €3.90

Payment in cash will ONLY be possible if there are sufficient online ticket sales, i.e. when a reservation for cash payment is added to the tickets.
Payment in cash will have a uniform price: €7.50 / person and no discounts apply.
