Historical cemeteries represent an important part of the development of old Bratislava and at the same time unique places of memory, in which the history of the city and the fate of its inhabitants are reflected. Just a few steps from the historical center, it hides a lot of stories, important personalities and rare tombstones..

A guided tour will guide visitors through this exceptional space and bring them closer to its history, architecture and the transformation of burial culture over the centuries.
Together we will imagine important personalities linked to Bratislava and Slovakia, the symbolism of tombstones, architectural details and preserved historical artifacts.

The tour offers a unique view of the history of Bratislava through the people who shaped it, and at the same time allows you to perceive the cemetery as a silent testimony of the development of the city, its society and culture.

The meeting of the participants is at the entrance gate inside the cemetery on Šulekova street. The program will last approximately 1.5 hours.
