Shaker, strainer, bar spoon - in this workshop you will learn the tools and know the techniques behind perfectly mixed cocktails. Under the guidance of Mate, 31, a Berliner who has worked in fine dining for over ten years, you will immerse yourself in the work of a bartender: from introducing the bar tools to shaking and stirring various cocktails to developing your own cocktail recipe. 🍸🎨

About the actor:

The KulturKafé in the Dussmann Kulturkaufhaus combines bar craft with a unique cultural ambience. Workshop leader Mate brings over a decade of experience in fine dining and shares his passion for creative drinks and precise craftsmanship.

You must order workshop tickets before the workshop, the number of participants for the Workshop is limited. Participation in this workshop costs 5 euros (also for students) and is free with a student ID. Why are we offering paid tickets this year? The restaurants put a lot of effort into creating a pleasant experience for you. Unfortunately, in recent years, workshops have often been booked and then not attended. We thought that was a shame because other interested parties couldn't take part. The fee is intended to ensure that this happens less. The money will be donated to the #proudtokellner initiative.
