About event
among the French composers Jean-Fry Rebel and François Couperin can be found several common features: both were born in Paris in famous music families, worked in the service of Kings Louis XIV. And Louis XV, and both died in Paris. Together with several of their contemporaries, they bravely resisted the nationalist tendency to protect French music from Italian influences. Their admiration for "Zaalpian" composers, especially Arcangelo Corelli, was undeniably reflected in the sonatas that will be heard in this program. Moll L'APOTHÉOSE de Corelli
