About event
Participants will walk through the area of the northern and southern royal gardens that surround Prague Castle and learn not only about history, but also interesting things connected with individual corners of the area.
Themes that will be heard during the walk:
- How it was with the great love of Ferdinand I and Anna Jagiellon
- Where our presidents lived
- Where we have emblem of the five-year anniversary at Míčovna
- Josip Plečnik and his work - was it a LEGO cube or a Bull Staircase before?
- Where did the animals live in Prague Castle
- Where did Slavata and Martinic end up during the defenestration in 1618
- Where did Masaryk like to rest
Practical information:
- Meeting point: At the entrance to the Royal Garden (TRAM stop: Královský letohrádek)
- The length of the walk will be at least 1.5 hours and then it is possible to move to the cafe.
- Price: when buying a ticket in advance, it is 150 CZK for an adult and 100 CZK for a child aged 6-15. If there is a free seat, you can buy a ticket on the spot for 200 CZK.
