Lada is a Prague team dedicated to the singing interpretation of Moravian and Slovak folklore. The ensemble of eleven members formed in 2015, but its essence consists of deep friendships dating back to the mid -90s and experience of the children's choir. Their repertoire consists mainly of love songs, lawns or ballads. Lady members carefully select songs from individual locations and process them with respect for the nature of folk expression and local traditions. In their submission you can hear both majestic Central Slovak polyphony as well as archaic and earthy solo speeches from Southeast Moravia. The ensemble performs separately and accompanied by music music (violin, viola, bass), accordion, rarely with dulcimer. In addition to its own concerts, the choir also cooperates widely with artists from music, theater, art or literary spheres. In December 2023, Lada released her debut album all sorts of flowers . They do not have much experience with performing abroad. Their activities mainly focus on the domestic scene where they perform across the whole spectrum of cultural events.
yasha 96
Yasha 96 is an India-Pop project in Berlin's seated musician Jáchym Kovář, who draws inspiration from the suggestive songwriting creation of the 90s. Her nostalgic vibrations are peculiar to contemporary influences, making his music a modern concept of post-punk. "Tender and dance at the same time" - so you could describe the creation of Yasha 96. In cooperation with Nèro Scartch producer (purpl boi), it often refers to club electronics. His first album The Boy Came Heire from the dust called the reflector as one of the best India-Pop albums of 2021. Yashove's second album Filip (2023) received not only the pre-discovery category for the Angel Music critics of Apollo in two categories - album of the year and single of the year ( go down ft. Melis). The driving force of the Yasha's diary songwriting is to capture feelings of love, sadness, doubt about himself and accepting. Yash's long -term stay in Berlin naturally directed him to foreign stages. He often performs in Germany, but also has a performance at the showcase festival Waves Vienna or successful international cooperation.
Madhouse Express They recently celebrated ten years of existence with their largest club concert so far, still maintaining the reputation of one of the most prominent bands of domestic psychedelia. Madhouse Express is inspired by the sound of 60 and 70 years. Their music connects magical keyboard surfaces, piercing guitar riffs, energetic drums, obscured vocals and even mystical themin. During their career, Madhouse Express released several recordings, video clips, contributed to the film soundtrack and have also undergone changes in the line -up. They have two albums - debut Surreal Meadow (2020) and Something with Space (2023). On the second album, they moved their sound closer to more intense synthesizers and experimental arrangements, which makes them compared to the early work of bands like Tame Impala or The Black Angels. Concerts outside the Czech Republic are not new for them - they have not only a few successful trips to clubs abroad, but also appeared in the lineups of European festivals.
