Martyyna

Martyyna is a producer and DJ from Prague, co-founder of the regular KSK club night and member of the Blazing Bullets DJ collective. She has already released tracks on Eco Futurism Corporation, Unizone or BCAA system labels and created remixes for jjjacob (ANBA) or Ethno Service (Unizone). In addition to the original work with the sounds of traditional stringed instruments such as guzheng or erhu, she has recently added her own vocals to the production, in which she is slowly taking the lead role. Awaken is her debut EP.

Her musical approach is largely experimental, working with self-confessed chaos, welcome randomness and deconstruction of traditional Asian instruments. This strategy has roots both in her everyday life and in her professional life – her second home is Taiwan and Asian regions in general, where she researches the so-called illegal and informal architecture.
