Eugen Vizvary & Friends

The band brings together prominent personalities of the Slovak jazz scene, each of whom brings their own signature to the common sound.

Nikolaj Nikitin on the saxophone stands out for his energetic improvisation, rhythmic precision and strong expressive tension, which adds dynamism and contrast to the music. His playing naturally connects the modern jazz language with melodic sensitivity and spontaneity. The harmonic pillar of the band is Ľuboš Šrámek, a pianist with rich experience from international projects, who sensitively balances between the support of soloists and his own inventive expression. His playing creates space for dialogue and at the same time adds color and harmonic depth to the music. Eugen Vizváry on the bass guitar brings a solid groove, significant rhythmic stability and a modern sound that naturally connects jazz, funk and fusion. His playing creates a dynamic foundation on which the band can move freely between fixed structure and open improvisation. The rhythmic energy and pulse is shaped by Martin Valihora, a drummer of international renown, whose sense of detail, dynamics and interaction makes the drums an equal partner in musical dialogue.

Together they create a compact ensemble in which technical brilliance is combined with natural musical communication, spontaneity and strong emotional expression.
