„Exhaust“

Camila Nebbia – sax Kit Downes – piano Andrew Lisle – drums

The improvisational trio "Exhaust" unites the Saxophonist Camila Nebbia, pianist Kit Downes and drummer Andrew Lisle in a dynamic interplay of spontaneous creativity. Their music unfolds through real-time exploration, where quick reflexes and deep listening inform every performance. Nebbia's powerful saxophone voice drives the ensemble forward with intensity, while Downes reveals a side of his playing that unfolds in raw immediacy and unbridled expressiveness. Lisle acts as both catalyst and anchor, forming fluid rhythmic structures that support and advance the trio's complex interplay. Her album moves through a wide spectrum of sounds, alternating between melodic counterpoint and rich soundscapes, embracing contrast and constant transformation. Their first album 'Exhaust' will be released in May 2025 on NYC label 'Relative Pitch' after touring Europe at festivals and venues such as the Berlin Jazz Festival, Bimhuis in Amsterdam, Cafe Oto in London and Jazz Jantar in Gdansk.
