Hollywood Night

The Prague Proms festival is sticking to its popular tradition this year as well - one of the key points of the program is once again the popular Hollywood Night. This concert, which celebrates the best of film music, will take place as every year in the Smetana Hall of the Municipal House. After last year's success, British composer, conductor and music director Chris Egan, whose extensive experience includes work on film, television and theater music, as well as major live productions, returns to the conductor's desk. His sense of detail and dynamic interpretation gives film melodies a new dimension. In cooperation with him, new soundtracks were included in the program, which will be heard for the first time ever at Hollywood Night. However, there will also be proven melodies by Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone and other greats whose music has been indelibly written in the history of world cinema.
