About event
Icarus had courage and a lofty goal in mind, so he went down in legend as an image of man's spiritual ability to fly.
With the IKARUS -Prize, the JugendKulturService sends a light signal once a year to the diverse and high-quality theater landscape for a young audience in Berlin. The IKARUS honors productions that make a visit to the theater a special experience for children and young people. It stands for the courage to risk something artistically, to dare to do something extraordinary and to always meet the young audience at eye level.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the supporters of the IKARUS Prize 2024 and the Youth Prize. IKARUS Prize 2024 as well as to all Berlin children's and youth theaters in this city.
