About event
"A happy home brings happiness to homes!"
The model of the production is the most extensive short story by Jaroslav Hašek. It is the story of a man who marries a passionate reader of the magazine Šťastný domov. However, he only found out after the wedding that he was buying this magazine full of "practical" household advice. These tips include, for example, making toothpicks at home from a piano that was bought just for this purpose or curing unconsciousness in a barrel with sauerkraut.
The production brings the tragic fate of this man closer. Hašek parodies the guaranteed recipes for anything, but above all the petit-bourgeois idyll of a happy life. The resulting production form shamelessly relies on Hašek's humor.
"Do you want to go crazy? Read Happy Home!"
Performers: Šimon Peter Králik, Veronika Karolína Peštová a.h., Mojmír Procházka a.h.
