About event
Franz Kafka's work continues to fascinate readers even a hundred years after his death. The city in which he was born and grew up shaped his extraordinary sensitivity and unique vision of the world in a fundamental way. No less perceptive guide Dagmar Winkler will take visitors on a walk through the corners of the Old Town and tell about Prague as it was during Kafka's life. It shows the house where Franz was born, reveals where his daily journey to school later led, where he went for fun and inspiration, who were his friends and lovers. But most importantly, it will reveal real places and events that, transformed by the writer's imagination, have found their place in world literature.
The profit from this event goes to support the activities of the non-profit organization Open House Praha, z.ú.
