Enter a space where joy, relaxation and depth are shared by singing mantras together.
In Sanskrit, the word mantra comes from two concepts:
Man (मन) / manas - mind
Tra (त्र) - a tool that protects, liberates
And that is how we will experience mantras during this evening. As a tool that frees the mind. Who can bring us home through layers of thoughts, tension or expectations. Where it is enough to just be.
Our voices become a prayer and connect our beings into one pulsating whole.
Kirtan is not about how well you sing.
~ It is about being together.
~ About returning to natural harmony through the vibration of mantras and the atmosphere that arises in the circle, between us.
~ About remembering that the voice is an instrument of connection – with what transcends us and helps us see the divine in ourselves and in others.
We will also be supported by the medicine of cocoa – a drink that opens the heart, stirs emotions and softens the transition to vocal expression.
