The course is intended for psychotherapists, psychologists and social workers who cooperate with parents and other carers.

We will imagine the basic principles of parenting that are key to education and accompanied by parents. You will learn to work with methods that will allow you to understand parental beliefs and attitudes. We will offer a way that will allow parents to reinterpret their beliefs and support their parental competences.

Topics:

Theoretical framework. Theoretical starting points and concept of educational styles with regard to anchoring within the approach of individual psychology. Aspects of creating subjective beliefs (private logic) in relation to the applied lifestyle. Beliefs in the context of private logic and lifestyle. Subjective beliefs and private logic, mapping and reinterpretation of their own irrational beliefs (playing roles, interviewing technique and uncovering subjective beliefs). Mediation of understanding of parental beliefs as an opportunity to see erroneous parental attitudes. Accompanied by a parent to achieve a change in parental attitude.
