About event
The bands Lakeside X, DSTR and Wolfgrief will perform in Prague's Rock Café on November 27 from 20:00. Lakeside X have prepared special visual effects for their Prague concert, a cross-section of their entire work, but also many surprises. Their debut album Sunrise will celebrate 20 years.
The sound of Lakeside X has been compared many times to bands like Mesh, De/Vision or even Depeche Mode. During its history, the band released four albums and firmly established itself on the electronic scene. The band's fans can be found all over the world, from their home Czech Republic to Poland, Germany, Great Britain, Russia, to the USA or countries like Argentina.
Lakeside X's songs combine melancholy with energy and sounds of synthesizers with live guitars . Together with the fragile voice of frontman and composer Janne Marvannen, all this creates a unique and original character of their music. In 2022, together with German producer Daniel Myer, they completed their fourth studio album called Love Disappears. The album contains ten electronica-laden songs, including the singles Rising, Time Has Come and Fascination.
2023 was the most successful year for the band. The legend of world music, Depeche Mode, chose them as the support band for their Prague concert, they performed at festivals in Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Wolfgrief is a Prague project that was created during the pandemic. Singer Klára produces and writes songs. She is joined by Ian (guitar) and Ravn (synthesizers). Ian and Ravn used to be members of the bass/electro DJ duo that formed in 2011 under the name Them Darned Teenagers, touring Europe and the US and sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Skrillex, Getter, Virtuar Riot Eathan Kath and more.
DSTR led by Daniel Myer is a dynamic musical project that mixes elements of synthpop, industrial, techno and other genres to create its own unique version of modern dance music. Their sound is characterized by pulsating beats, infectious melodies and atmospheric synths that create an immersive listening experience.
