Lakeside X

Lakeside X is an indie electro rock formation from Prague.

Their sound has been compared many times to bands like Mesh, De/Vision or even Depeche Mode. During its history, the band released four albums and firmly established itself on the electronic scene. The band's fans can be found all over the world, from their home Czech Republic to Poland, Germany, Great Britain, Russia, to the USA or countries like Argentina.

Lakeside X's songs combine melancholy with energy and synthesizer sounds with live guitars. . Together with the fragile voice of frontman and composer Janne Marvannen, all this creates a unique and original character of their music. In 2022, together with German producer Daniel Myer, they completed their fourth studio album called Love Disappears. The album contains ten electronica-laden songs, including the singles Rising, Time Has Come and Fascination.

2023 was the most successful year for the band. The legend of world music, Depeche Mode, chose them as an opening act for their Prague concert, and they performed at festivals in Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
