LAKESIDE X are working on a new album with Daniel Myer and Depeche Mode drummer Christian Eigner and will premiere a new concert program, including some new songs, on 12/06/2026 at Prague's CARGO GALLERY.

Lakeside X is an alternative independent pop/rock band from Prague (CZ), moving between synth-pop, modern electronics and alternative guitar music. In its sound, it combines melancholy with energy, expressive synthesizers with guitars and the characteristic, fragile vocals of frontman and composer Janne Marvannen. The band has more than twenty years of history, during which they released four studio albums and established themselves on the European electronic and alternative scene. The Lakeside X fan base extends from the Czech Republic through Germany, Poland and Great Britain to the USA and South America. After resuming activity in 2020, the band established a collaboration with Daniel Myer (Haujobb, Architect, Covenant), with whom they released the album "Love Disappears" (2022). The album was supported by a series of singles and a successful release show at the Lucerna Music Bar in Prague. Lakeside X are a sought-after concert name. They performed as support for legends Depeche Mode (Prague, 2023), shared stages with And One, Front 242 and Suicide Commando and appeared at important festivals such as Wave-Gotik-Treffen, NCN Leipzig, Schwarze Ball (CH), EXIT Festival (RS) or Rock for People (CZ).

In 2025, the band played almost 40 concerts across Europe, specifically in Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic, thus confirming its strong position on the international club and festival scene.

For 2026, Lakeside X are preparing the release of a new studio album, on which they are once again collaborating with producer Daniel Myer and Depeche Mode drummer Christian Eigner. The new material is designed with a clear emphasis on live performance and other international concert activities.
