Maryleen Schiltkamp is a visual artist and live performance Painter. She studied at the Rietveld Academy and the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, and exhibited worldwide, including in New York, Tokyo, St. Petersburg and Prague. Her work moves at the intersection of visual arts and music. She performed with live painting performances during concerts and festivals in, among others, London, Amsterdam and Riga.

A special project was her series about the symphonies of Shostakovich, which led to the British documentary the art of the Symphony and Amsterdam, and Amsterdam, and Amsterdam. P>> PRESIER INTILERER Latvian pianist Reinis Zariņš . Together they created the concept musicpaintingLive , with which they performed during the Baltic Art Form, the Cēsis Arts Festival and winter evenings on the Amstel. Een van hun hoogtepunten was Stravinsky's Le Sacre du Printemps als live performance art in het Hanzas Perons Theater (Riga, 2023).

In 2024 initieerde zij het interdisciplinaire project Atlantis & Other Utopias, gebaseerd op haar Paintings, with music by Marion von Tilzer and Live Visuals from Studio de Moon.

About Reinis Zariņš

He performed with leading orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Kremerata Baltica and the Moscow State Chamber Orchestra. He also regularly works with all Latvian and Lithuanian orchestras.

Zariņš "collaborations are wide and interdisciplinary. He worked with musicians such as Gidon Kremer, Viktoria Mullova and conductors such as Pierre Boulez and Peter Eötvös, but also with dancer Kirill Burlov and visual artist Maryleen Schiltkamp.

As advocator of Letish music, he gave the Derzenis and And and Anderis. His discography reflects this focus. For his contribution to the Latvian culture, he received the Order of the three stars and he won the big Latvian music price - the highest national recognitions.
