About event
The Waiting project invites you to the next continuation of the art project of the Slovak visual artist Lucie Tkáčová.
As the place of her intervention, the artist chose a hospital – a public space that is an integral part of every city, but often remains on the periphery of our interest. He is preparing a series of works of art for the Faculty Hospital in Trenčín, including original bed linen for one of the departments.
Come listen to the presentation and get a behind-the-scenes look at the process of the upcoming intervention, which is being created as part of the Na poččanie project.
As early as April 24, 2026, at 6 p.m. in Trenčín at KKC Hviezda, you can learn more about how the project continues, and take a deeper look into the process of creating author's bed sheets.
An important part of the discussion will also be the presentation of the strategic partnership with the Technical University of Liberec, which brings methodological leadership in the field of textile research to the project.
Date and time: April 24, 2026, 6 p.m.
Place: KKC Hviezda, Trenčín
The lecture will include guests: Brigita Kolčavová Sirková, Miroslava Pechociaková
