Mabe Fratti + support: Military Genius

Mabe Fratti will perform at Prague's NoD theater on November 15 from 7:30 p.m. Military Genius will perform as support.

Guatemalan, Mexico-based musician Mabe Fratti returns to Prague after three years with two new albums and a band. This sentence alone should be enough of an invitation to the concert she will play on November 15 in NoDu.

On her debut EP Pies sobre la tierra, Mabe Fratti "magiced" with hypnotic compositions, the first album Será que ahora podremos entendernos was dominated by meditative surfaces, through which she continued to the clearer landscapes of Se ve desde aquí. Improvisation runs like a red thread through all her recordings, which is so far the strongest motif of the singles leading to the new Sentir que no sabes benefiting from a full-fledged band, which, while leaving behind the previously dominant cello, opens up new, unexplored paths.< /p>

The list of media such as NPR, The Wire or Pitchfork singing the praises of Mabe Fratti is growing with comfort and the talents of young Female composers are also paying attention to the expanding legions of fans. Just a few days before the Prague concert, Mabe Fratti will curate part of the program of the international music festival in Utrecht, the Netherlands - Le Guess Who? 2023. The premiere in the Atrium was intimate, NoD with the full band will be a much different experience.
